- UAF Conference Parking information. In short, there is a ticket kiosk in the parking lot behind (to the north of) Elvey.
- Light breakfasts and full lunches will
be provided, and a symposium dinner, courtesy of Cray, Inc., will be held at
Gambardellas in downtown Fairbanks. You will need to wear your name badge to the dinner, and we will need you to contact the symposium organizers as soon as possible if you have any intention of inviting additional guests.
- Wireless Internet is available
Presenter Logistics
- Keynote presentations are 30 minutes
- Regular presentations are 20 minutes (this includes questions)
- Computer will be provided for slides. To avoid problems in computer-switching, we would prefer that you bring your presentation on a USB device and copy to the default computer. However, if you have special needs and are unable to do this, we will do our best to accomodate you. The computer should have PPT 2007 installed, but it might be prudent, if possible, to have your presentation in an older format, "just in case."
- Poster boards will accomodate 4' x 8' posters.
- We would like to collect all slides and PDF copies of posters for archiving on the conference web site. We will (with your permission) collect these on site, or you may email in advance to newby@arsc.edu and/or morton@arsc.edu.
Travel/Lodging
- Travel is at your own expense to Fairbanks
- We are unable to provide local transportation
- Suggested area lodging (in no particular order):
